Shipping and Delivery Policy
1. General Shipping Information
All Lemmingtons products are baked fresh to order and are considered perishable. Our shipping methods are selected to ensure your goods arrive in the best possible condition, typically requiring expedited service.
1.1 Service Area
We currently ship to England Wales Scotland, Contact us for North Ireland and Repbulic Of Ireland We do not currently ship to anywhere outside the UK .
1.2 Shipping Days
To prevent orders from sitting in courier facilities over the weekend, we only dispatch orders on Tuesdays, For next day delivery so you should get your orders Wednesday or Thursday. Orders placed after the cutoff on Saturday will be baked and shipped the following week.
2. Order Processing and Timelines
2.1 Baking and Processing Time
All orders require a processing time for baking, cooling, and packaging. Please see above for shipping info
2.2 Shipping Methods
We use Royal Mail Next day Tracked for all shipments.
3. Packaging and Quality Assurance
3.1 Perishable Goods Packaging
We take great care in packaging your gluten-free products to maintain freshness and structural integrity. All perishable items are packaged in:

Sturdy, corrugated cardboard boxes.

Protective, sealed inner packaging (e.g., thermal liners, cling film, individual wraps).

Frozen gel packs or ice packs to control ambient temperature during transit, For items that need to be kept chilled.
3.2 Best-Before Dates
While we ship items immediately after baking, we cannot control transit time. We recommend consuming your baked goods within 5 daysof delivery or freezing them upon arrival to maintain quality. Storage instructions will be included in your package.
4. Delivery Responsibility and Liability
4.1 Correct Address and Contact Details
The customer is solely responsible for providing the correct and complete shipping address. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout. If an order is returned to us due to an address error, re-shipping fees will apply, and the freshness of the product cannot be guaranteed.
4.2 Failed Deliveries
Due to the perishable nature of our products, our couriers are often authorized to leave the package in a safe place if no one is available to receive it.

You will receive tracking and delivery updates from Royal Mail. It is your responsibility to monitor the tracking and be available to receive the package.

We are not responsible for missed or failed deliveries if the courier attempts delivery within the specified window and no one is available.

No refunds or replacements will be offered for goods that spoil or are damaged due to a failed delivery attempt or extended exposure to outdoor temperatures after delivery.
4.3 Delays Outside Our Control
We are not liable for any delivery delays caused by external factors, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, courier service disruptions, or inaccurate delivery information provided by the customer.
5. Click & Collect (Store Pickup)

Orders must be collected within reasonable time of the scheduled pickup time. Orders not collected are subject to disposal for food safety reasons, and no refund will be issued.
